• Living room has a two-person sofa, one arm chair, nest of tables, TV and stereo, extendable dining table with two chairs.

• Kitchen is equipped with toaster, electric kettle, coffee machine, mini-oven, cook-top with two electric infrared elements, extraction fan, fridge-freezer, washing machine, pots and pans, cutlery, crockery, glasses etc.

​

• Basic provisions are supplied for your arrival: tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, milk; welcome basket with wine, beer, snacks; toilet paper, shower gel, cleaning products.

​

• Bathroom, kitchen and bed linen is provided for two guests - for stays of more than seven nights, two sets will be provided so guests can change their linen.

​

• Fans are provided for warm summer weather and heating for the cooler weather.

​

• There is a clothes horse for indoor/outdoor drying.

​

• There is an iron and ironing board in the bedroom cupboard.

​

• Wi-fi, internet TV and landline phone (with free calling in France) are provided.

​

• The small front garden is across the quiet, narrow lane in front of the house, with barbecue, outdoor table and chairs under a grapevine-covered pergola.

​

• The rear garden is vast and slopes upwards to the woodland behind, with old fruit trees for shade.

​

• There is ample street parking five metres from the front door.

​

• Self-check-in/check-out is available, with the front door key-box code given to guests prior to arrival. All the information needed to enjoy the house is provided on this website under the section Instructions (protected by password given along with the key-box code).

​

• The house is a 5-minute walk from the château and main square of Fumel, which has several restaurants, a general grocery store, a butcher, a bakery, two pharmacies, a bank and ATM, a tobacconist-book store, a couple of beauticians, and a post office (see Local Info).

​

• My Bijou is an adults-only holiday home and not suitable for mobility-impaired guests.
